Words of wisdom from my mother
Last week during my Barcelona vlog, I shared some of my packing tips. My Mum always used tissue paper to protect against creasing and keep everything looking ‘just so’, and it works like a charm!
Somebody reached out wondering if I had any other pearls of wisdom passed down to me from my dear Mum and my goodness what a wonderful week I’ve had thinking of them all!
Mum was filled with wisdom, knowledge and experience and she imparted as much of that as she could onto my brother and I as we grew up.
From “Manners maketh man” to “we are all God’s children”, she taught us equality, to never judge and to always be polite, even in trying circumstances.
She taught us never to “put off until tomorrow what you can do today”, meaning we always started the day on the right foot and not with a mountain of jobs first thing. Talking of mornings, we always *always* made our beds before we left our rooms, something I have also instilled into our own household routine too. She’s also to thank for my love of batch cooking! She liked to always be ready for anything.
Watch this week’s video as I chat about what else my dear Mum taught us, and do share with anybody else who you feel may enjoy it!
Did your Mothers teach you any wisdom of their own?
