RUNUARY...5km every day of January for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust
This year I am so proud to say that once again I shall be taking part in the fantastic Runuary.
Set up by a friend of mine last year, Runuary consists of walking or running 5km a day, every day throughout January whilst also fundraising for very worthy causes.
Not only is it fantastic for your fitness levels, getting up, going outside and immersing yourself in the fresh air is so incredibly good for the soul. It gives you some time to think, to let go and just enjoy some reflective ‘you’ time.
Last year I found it much easier to get straight to it early morning. It gave me less time to be put off in the case of grey and miserable weather. Plus it really helps to set you up for the day!
For Runuary 2018 I raised money for the brilliant Chestnut Tree House. This year I have decided to raise money for The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
Set up in 1993, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is a unique local children's' charity. They provide nursing care at home for children who have a life-threatening or terminal illness, and financial and emotional support for their families.
Please do visit their website if you think you can help in any way.
I will be posting my Runuary journey onto my social media everyday, so do follow me on Instagram and Facebook!
Happy New Year everybody!
Love,
