How To Start a Container Kitchen Garden (Planting Vegetables & Herbs)

This week, amidst the chaos of moving and unpacking, I decided to take a much-needed break and focus on something I’ve been incredibly excited to start—my new kitchen garden. After a weekend of settling into the new house, I was eager to get my hands dirty and plant some vegetables and herbs. Although it's late in the season, I was inspired to give it a go, especially after receiving a wonderful delivery from Rocket Gardens.

I ordered a variety of vegetables and herbs, which arrived in excellent condition and were ready to plant. I’ve planted sweet potatoes, carrots, chives, rocket, lettuce, and butternut squash. It’s a bit of an experiment, but I’m excited to see how everything turns out! There’s something truly satisfying and rewarding about enjoying crops you’ve grown yourself.

This new project has been a welcome distraction from the stress of moving, and I’ve found it extremely therapeutic to reconnect with gardening. Even though there’s still a lot to do around the house, I’m looking forward to watching my kitchen garden grow. I’ll keep you updated on its progress and share more with you soon!

Love,

Charlie x
