Final Stretch of Our House Move: Exciting Finds, New Beginnings & Taking a Break (Home Update)

This week’s vlog is all about the final stretch of our house move, and suffice to say, it’s been a mix of exhaustion and relief.

We’ve made some big strides, from getting the children’s rooms sorted to tackling those last few boxes in the garage, preparing the Shepherd’s Hut, and making a very exciting purchase from John Lewis! Our brilliant moving team has been beyond amazing and made everything so much easier. We even had a few happy surprises along the way, like finding the perfect curtains sitting in storage, just waiting for their time to shine!

We also managed to move the horses to their new home, and they’re settling in nicely. Sigh and I took a break from the chaos to have dinner in Chichester with the girls, which was a much-needed change of scenery.

Next week, I’m taking some time off to recharge and spend quality time with family. We’ve got an extended family holiday planned that I’m really looking forward to—a chance to relax and step away from the moving madness for a bit. I won’t be posting a new vlog or How-To video next week, but I’ll still be popping in on Instagram and TikTok. I’m excited to come back refreshed, with more updates on the house and some fun new plans.
