Hosting B&B guests in the Sussex countryside - Our beautiful South Downs annexe

We're so proud of this space we have created within the annexe of our cottage. It is so light and spacious - and guests seem to just love it.

It has two twin beds (you can see how I make them here) and all the amenities you could wish for a quiet, stress-free and comfortable escape. Privacy is normally quite sought after when people look for a bolthole in the countryside, and we do provide this with the annexe having its own entrance via external stairs.

I believe that all the finishing touches make any experience the best it can be, so I do try and go one step further for my guests. They will always find a fresh flower in a vase, little pots of jam and other condiments, snuggly blankets at the foot of the bed & just-plumped pillows.

The beautiful views are so pleasing and the surroundings are beyond peaceful - you can gaze across paddocks with ponies grassing. Situated in an area of outstanding beauty within the South Downs national park, we are surrounded by wonderful walks and the potential for great bike rides straight from the doorstep!

Only 30 mins from Goodwood, we can also offer stabling for horses if you are showing nearby - it's just 5 minutes from Coombelands and 40 mins from Hickstead!
