My Ask Charlie Perfect Picnic Recipes & Guide is here! Get ready to become the ultimate picnic host...

Picnics are the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors with friends, family and loved ones. Especially on a gloriously sunny day, which I know is sometimes wishful thinking when living here in the UK!

I always get so excited about hosting a picnic, big or small. It could be in the garden at home, at the polo or cricket, the beach or even an indoor picnic - the fact that you all get to gather around so much yummy goodness and then all sit together to enjoy it makes me so happy.

Having made bespoke picnic hampers for over 2 years for myself and clients attending events such as the polo, races, functions in their homes and plenty more, I think it's safe to say I'm a bit of a dab hand at the art of the picnic!

I always go to town on the recipes and presentation as I believe it's all part of the wonderful experience.

It's important to have a good mixture of different dishes for your picnic. I've included a real selection within this guide to ensure there's something for you all, whether you're going down the smart picnic route or just fancy whipping something together on a whim!

Lots of the recipes can be made in advance, so you can get out into that coveted sunshine and enjoy yourself whilst still hosting.

One of my main pointers if attending or hosting a picnic in the great outdoors, is to always leave the area and you would like to have found it. Avoid plastic where you can, invest in reusable and sustainable solutions and always be mindful of our beautiful environment.

You can shop both the digital and printed versions of my Perfect Picnic Recipes & Guide in my SHOP which you'll find right here on my website - or simply CLICK HERE!
