A handy household hack! Using silver dip to clean decanters, vases and more...

The most fantastic tip has been shared with me recently and I couldn’t wait to pass it on!

I had no idea that silver dip could be used to clean vases, decanters and more and I must say the results are absolutely astounding!

Here’s how to do it yourself:

Pop on some rubber gloves - obviously I wore my trusty Lakeland moisturising gloves which I cannot live without!

Pour the silver dip into your (rinsed) vase, decanter or other.

Give the whole thing a good swill for a few seconds, you should be able to see it working almost immediately.

If you need some extra help, grab a Spontex scouring sponge or similar and give it a little once over if needed.

Pour the silver dip back into the bottle it came in. This is one of the best parts of the whole hack, no wastage!

Give it a good rinse and voila!
