What I keep on my dressing table!

I've had so many questions about various bits and pieces, that I thought I would do a talk through of my favourite things with you and take you through my dressing table.

Let's get stuck in!

Olverum - Simon introduced me to Olverum years ago, and it's just the most beautiful, beautiful bath oil. It's a real treat and an absolute luxury. The smell is just unbelievably heavenly, so highly recommend that.

Acqua di Parma - Magnolia Nobile is a really, really beautiful perfume. Remember when you put your perfume on, pop a little squirt on your wrists on either side and then just dab your wrists behind your ears. Never, ever, ever spray directly onto your chest, because you can get skin damage from spraying it directly on.

Juno Hand Cream - I think this is probably my fourth tube. I'm obsessed with hand cream and I keep this bottle by my bed. I love it. It's a bit of a luxury. I have Nivea Soft in the car and downstairs by the kitchen sinks. But this is just really, really gorgeous.

Garnier Reusable Cotton Pads - These are just the best discovery ever. They come in a pack of three, and they're approximately £8.99 and you can wash them 1000 times per pad. I've been using one since the beginning of January and it is going strong. You can put them in the washing machine, but I wash them a bar of soap after use. I put a little Micellar water on to take my eye makeup off. I don't use it all over my face.

Tropic cleanser with the Tropic bamboo cloth - I think is the best cleanser and does such a great job.

Alumier Skincare - I use this on the recommendation of lovely, lovely Sam at Sam H Skin and Beauty. She's just beautiful, such an amazing person. I haven't met her in person, we met online and she has really helped with my skin. We're battling my pigmentation and I really do think that this skincare range is really, really helping. You can have online consultations with Sam and she's really knowledgeable and helpful.

SPF50 SOS Broad Spectrum - Your SPF must be a broad spectrum one. I discovered this product at the beginning of December. It's like a serum and it rubs in really, really beautifully. I have found that this is the best one to wear with makeup on top because it just sinks in pretty quickly. So you can put your makeup on a minute after you've applied it if you're in a hurry. You get it on Amazon and I think it's approximately £15. This is my second one, so it's lasted a long time. I wear SPF 50 every single day and I reapply as and when I need to.

Hollywood Browser - Now this is a relatively new discovery thanks to my lovely friend, Lulu. It's really good for getting rid of unwanted facial hair. Eyebrows, lip, any fuzzy bits, you can just whip them off. Let's face it, all of us have some unwanted facial hair in places. So, this is a really great bit of kit.

Eyelash curler - I think if I was to have two things only, it would probably be this and lip gloss. I always curl my eyelashes, every day, because I think it just makes your eyes look more awake and alert. So a big, big fan of this.

Dressing Table Tray - My dressing table tray is actually Mum's. It's got her initials, LMH, in the middle. I love using this in here.

Pots - My pots are old candles! They were Ralph Lauren Home candles and a present, and I just thought the pots were too beautiful to throw away and really good quality. If you get a beautiful candle, don't throw it away, recycle and reuse it!

Mirror - My mirror was a present from Simon and we got it at an antique shop. I love, love using it.

Supplements - I have my The Clean Body Company vitamins, which I have talked about on Instagram. I've been using these now since the beginning of December and they are amazing. I've never been much of a fan of supplements if I'm honest. But we don't all eat always all the nutrients that we need in our bodies. So actually supplements are important and now I've hit my forties, it is important to look after yourself. I've noticed such a difference, particularly my nails which are a lot stronger. My nails get an absolute pounding with the horses, gardening, cooking, cleaning, you name it, but they are a lot stronger. My hair is so much better. My skin is better. I can really vouch that these are doing good for me.

Candle - I love this candle so much. It's Hedgerow by Join Handcrafted London. Jen, who runs the business, is such a lovely person. She's just had a baby girl. And the smell is just so pretty and delicate. I really, really love it. It lasts such a long time as well.

Perspex Make Up Box - I got mine on Amazon and it came quickly. It's a great bit of kit. I don't like having all my makeup out that I'm not using all the time, because it gathers dust and then it's just another thing to dust, so having things in these little drawers is brilliant. There are different sized drawers as well. You can see everything really clearly, and it just really helps keep things organised. I know exactly where everything is and everything's got its place, which is something that I'm a big fan of and then you can't lose it.

Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Nougat - I'm not a big lipstick girl if I'm honest. I've never really got to grips with it. I just tend to wear these the whole time.

Benefit 'Boing' Industrial Strength Concealer - I've talked about this in makeup videos before. It's incredible stuff and I absolutely love it. I've got number two and number one, and I wear the shade that suits me best for the time of year!

CC Plus Cream - This is the best foundation I have discovered. I have the colour correcting full coverage cream and it's got SPF 50 in. It's just really, really lovely to put on. I use my fingers to put it on, I love the texture and it just lasts. It covers well but isn't cakey or too heavy. I've tried lots of different foundations and this is the best. It also doesn't sit in fine lines you may have.

I hope you've enjoyed the little tour of my favourite things that I use on a really regular basis!

Thank you also for all your lovely feedback last week on my dressing table upcycle, it was great to hear from you! Wishing you a fabulous weekend. Stay safe, stay well and sending you lots and lots of love.

Love, Charlie x
