Vlogmas Episode 8: Balancing Festive Prep, Mindset Shifts & A Lovely Trip to Petworth (Gift Ideas)

Welcome to Episode 8 of Vlogmas! This week has been all about balancing the busy festive season while taking care of myself after feeling a bit under the weather. I’ve been reflecting on how to stay strong and focused, especially when things don’t go as planned. I chat about mindset shifts that have really helped me, like learning to pause, reframe situations, and focus on what really matters.

I also took a lovely trip to Petworth, where I picked up a beautiful sheepskin rug for the bench at home and managed to find some Christmas presents for the boys. It’s always a joy to shop locally and support small businesses.

Simon’s office Christmas lunch was a lovely moment to connect with his team—who are more like family at this point—and I’ve also been preparing for a catering job in London, which means making endless cheese straws and mini Yorkshire puddings (always a crowd-pleaser!).

Coco’s riding lessons with Santana have been another highlight; she’s doing so well, and it’s wonderful to watch her confidence grow.

It’s been a busy few days, but I’ve been pacing myself, finding joy in the little moments, and trying to keep everything running smoothly. I’d love for you to join me this week—there’s lots to share, and I hope you’ll enjoy it! Do subscribe so you don't miss a thing.

Love, Charlie x
