Sun, Fun, and Moving Chaos: Our Final Days in France and Exciting Home Plans (Plus Skincare Tips!)

Welcome to this week's vlog, beginning in the South of France!

We spent our last day on a boat, soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful weather. I didn't vlog much during this trip—it was just too nice to take a break and be present with family and friends. We had a lovely surprise when we bumped into some friends from Sussex at the market, so they joined us on the boat, and the kids had a blast swimming together.

After our boat day, we visited the charming village of Gassin for our final evening. We had an amazing Italian meal and took in the stunning scenery. The next morning, it was an early start as we left for home, gearing up for the reality of moving and settling into our new place.

Once home, we jumped straight into the chaos of packing and organising for our move. We're relocating to a rental property, which lets us move gradually without too much pressure. The past few weeks have been all about decluttering and deciding what we actually need to take with us—it’s been rather liberating. We checked out the paddocks, figuring out the best spots for the horses. We're sharing the space with some goats and sheep, which will be quite fun!

In the midst of all this, we travelled to Birmingham and attended the "Stand By For Action" concert that celebrated the timeless world of Gerry Anderson’s TV shows and Barry Gray's musical work. Barry was Simon's stepfather, and it was incredibly special to hear his pieces performed live. He was a talented musician and composer, and it meant so much to us to be there, hearing the audience's reaction to his work.

Lastly, I want to share a little update on my skincare routine since a number of you have complimented my skin—thank you all so much! I’ve been using some game-changing products and will tell you all about them this week.
