Summer fun in Sussex & North Devon

For this week’s vlog, I’m bringing you along for an evening of gin and jazz courtesy of Cowdray Park Polo Club followed by a week of relaxation in beautiful Devon.

To kick off the weekend, we visited the stunning Cowdray Park Polo Club, a local institution and the home of British polo.

They were hosting a fantastic Gin and Jazz event to mark the beginning of their weekend of celebrations for the Gold Cup.

It was a fabulous evening of jolly good music from a whole host of musical virtuosos, spectacular drinks from No. 3 Gin and Nyetimber Sparkling Wine, and seriously yummy food. I’ve been dreaming about the lobster rolls ever since!

After the polo, we headed home to finish packing for a week of R&R at our home in Devon.

We instantly entered holiday mode upon arriving, and it was absolute bliss. Perfect weather, wonderful company and the odd adventure.

We fed on Lynmouth’s best Fish & Chips, surfed our little hearts out, I visited my absolute favourite shop ‘Source For The Goose’ in South Molten, and we wrapped it all up with a once-in-a-lifetime boat trip to Lundy to swim with the UK’s largest seal colony!

Our batteries have been recharged, we’re filled with gratitude and ready to take on the rest of the summer.

Do give the full vlog a watch now to join us!

Love, Charlie x
