Scotland Trip, New Kitchen Worktops & Fair Finds! (Birthday, Schöffel & Eat Nourish Love Talk)

This week’s been a bit of a whirlwind! We kicked things off with a trip to the Scottish Islands for Archie’s 16th birthday. It was so lovely catching up with the boys, having a good laugh, eating plenty, and just relaxing. There was a bit of a hiccup with our Airbnb booking, but we ended up somewhere simpler and closer to school, so it all worked out in the end.

I also attended a Schöffel focus group, which was hugely interesting and a real honour to be invited to. I love that they actually ask for feedback from their customers—it feels like they really care.

Back home, we had a big moment with the new Evotops from BFAB.UK kitchen worktops being installed. They’re made from reclaimed materials so look fantastic as well as being much better for the environment — watch along to see how they turned out!

Later in the week, I attended the Eat Nourish Love fair and met some incredible brand owners, then had my big talk! I was really quite nervous, but it went well, and my friends came to support me, which was lovely. I leapt out of my comfort zone and just went for it, meeting some wonderful members of the Ask Charlie community along the way. Thank you to everybody who took the time to come and say hello, it was a real honour meeting you.
