Let's talk all things water! The importance of keeping hydrated & some of my top tips to ensure you stay on top of your water intake...
So many of us don’t drink enough water. We just forget, are too busy to think about it or don’t think it’s that important - but it really is!
There are so many benefits to staying hydrated. You’re flushing out toxins, it can improve memory and mood, aid with weight maintenance, reduce headaches and so much more!
I bought this fantastic bottle after seeing it via Chloe Loves To Shop in Instagram sometime last year and it has helped me so much. It has times along the side so you can track your water intake and know if you’re behind on the day! It is refillable and goes through the dishwasher so we’re massively reducing our plastic bottle use, and it comes with a cleaning gadget and the most fantastic urine colour guide to see how hydrated you are!
The guide is especially fantastic to use with the children. It is so handy to be able to point out to them just how hydrated their bodies are and encourage them to go and have a big glass of water!
The long-accepted belief is that we should be drinking 2 litres of water a day. Those of you who have followed me for a while know that I am an avid follower of The Ultimate Shred with Leigh Linton, and Leigh actually advises that we should be drinking 3 litres of water a day! You do sweat quite heavily whilst doing her workouts, so it doesn’t surprise me!
Do you struggle with keeping hydrated? I highly recommend one of these bottles!
Love,
