Hectic Week of Moving Prep, Flower Festivals, & Fun at Goodwood! (Plus Snippets Of The Game Fair)

This week was rather hectic, to say the least! It began with me feeling quite anxious due to some technical issues with Zoom and various household problems. It seemed to be one thing after another, which hasn't helped my stress levels. However, it is making me feel super excited to move into our beautiful new home.

On a brighter note, my dear friend Char and I were involved in a local flower festival, which has been a lovely distraction. We also headed to the Game Fair at Blenheim Palace, which was a fantastic day out and a nice break from all the moving chaos. Visiting the Schoffel stand was an absolute highlight. Schoffel has been a favourite brand of ours for years, and it was such an honour to be invited by them. I was thrilled to see their new collection, meet the team, and see the latest designs up close. It's always great to support a brand that you genuinely love and have been loyal to for so long.

The new house is coming along, and there's progress on the barn for the horses. One of the projects I'm particularly excited about is setting up my new potted kitchen garden! Leaving behind the kitchen garden at our current house has been tough, but I think this will be a great alternative. I'll be growing all sorts of herbs and vegetables, and I can't wait to see how it turns out - I’ll keep you posted, of course!

We also had an amazing time at Goodwood this week. It was such a perfect day out, and the weather was beautiful, which made a lovely change from last year's rain. We enjoyed a wonderful picnic with friends, and I was thrilled to meet Lydia Millen and her husband Ali. Lydia has been a great help to me in the past, especially with advice on dealing with negativity online, so it was wonderful to thank her in person.
