Getting the most out of an investment piece

I adore preloved clothes and always make a really conscious effort to shop second-hand.

I think giving clothes a new home and new lease of life is quite exciting, as well as being so much better for the environment. Pieces are almost always in fantastic condition, especially if you head to reputable shops such as L’Amour Encore in Petworth.

After lusting after a particular Gucci skirt in the shop, going away to think about it, taking time to consider if it would sit well within my existing wardrobe and ensuring I had plenty of complementary pieces, I went for it!
