Escape to the Countryside: Glamping, Fishing & Road Trip Fun! Featuring Chigborough Farms

I have a wonderfully fun-filled vlog for you this week!

The week began at Chigborough Farm & Fisheries for a peaceful yet brilliantly fun glamping getaway, surrounded by the picturesque countryside. We enjoyed activities such as fly fishing lesson with the wonderful Fly Fishing Essex, which became one of the highlights of our stay. Every single moment at Chigborough offered a real escape from daily life, and I honestly cannot recommend them more highly. I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it, hugely happy memories were made and I’m incredibly grateful for the invitation. If you’re looking to escape from it all, get booked in!

Our road trip adventures also took us to Tiptree for a delicious afternoon tea, a visit to Suffolk Horses, and to Daylesford Organic Farm to enjoy a dinner by Tait Miller, a passionate advocate of seasonal cooking and foraging - so perfect for me! I've been following Tait on Instagram and admiring his creations for a while, especially as they align perfectly with my own values.

A day trip to London brought Gus and I to the British Museum, where we explored ancient artefacts and statues, diving right into the fascinating world of Greek mythology. Gus enjoyed a tour with Chloe from Clarendon Inspires, and I seized the opportunity to take care of some work whilst he soaked up the history.

Lastly, I show you some wonderful gifts I’ve received recently, including pieces from Schoffel and Summerdown. Schoffel generously provided me with a jumper and jacket to complete my outdoor everyday wardrobe, replacing my Musto jacket that has served me so well but is now in retirement! Summerdown also graciously sent me a selection of their tea and new homeware goodies, and now the delicious smell of peppermint fills my home.
