Come along with us on our family holiday to Turkey and facing my fears

This week I’m bringing you all along with me to Turkey, along with 22 members of my family!

Every other year, my uncle brings us all together and gives us that all-important family time. I don’t often get to see the extended members of my family, and since my immediate family is quite a small bunch it fills my heart with so much joy to have this time and ensure the children do too.

We stayed with Club Med, which I cannot recommend enough. The holiday was absolutely impeccable, from the beautiful hotel filled with amenities to the many activities and the brilliant staff. Check them out if you’re planning a trip!

This trip was also one of the first real examples of how my seeing Kate for therapy sessions is making a difference. The change in my anxiety and fear whilst sailing was astounding. I was really quite traumatised by sailing as a child, however, since seeing Kate and working on putting the past behind me I was cool, calm and collected and couldn’t quite believe it! It made me quite emotional to feel the difference in my way of thinking and be able to get out there with no fear to enjoy it.

Not only did I face that fear, but I also seemed to go one step further and have a go at the trapeze! I think I’ve become quite the adrenaline junkie!

Do watch the vlog now to join us for a truly wonderful holiday filled with love, fun, family and memories to last a lifetime.
