A tour of The Beast, chicken updates and birthday presents!

Today’s vlog starts with a visit to Part Two of Seymour Stein's private collection at Bellman's Auctioneers.

It was a real feast for the eyes with such wonderful artwork, a myriad of colourful posters and an eclectic mixture of things. He was a real character by all accounts so it was absolutely fascinating being there to see it all on display.

I then returned home to unbox a few pieces graciously sent to me by some fabulous brands – I’ll keep you posted on how I get on with them all, but first impressions are positive!

I also introduce you to "The Beast" – our new Defender, with a whistle-stop tour of her features. She is such a beauty and I can’t wait to see where she takes us.

Out in the garden, I’m eagerly preparing to welcome some cherished hens back to our home. We have to ensure their surroundings are just right, so Rueben has been hard at work preparing for their arrival.

Lastly, I finally show you my beloved birthday presents in all their glory!
